Papolle is a family domaine in Madiran and the Gascony region of south-west France — a farming landscape of great character where Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, and other local varieties thrive in the warm, continental climate. Quatre C Blanc is their fresh, aromatic white: a blend of local grape varieties crafted for immediate enjoyment.
Pale gold with a lively nose of citrus, pear, white peach, and a hint of fresh herbs. Dry and vibrant on the palate with good acidity and a clean, satisfying finish. An excellent all-rounder — brilliant as an aperitif or alongside grilled fish, seafood, goat's cheese, or light summer dishes. Authentic south-western French character at a very appealing price.

Frederic Piffard
At the heart of the Bas Armagnac vineyards, Domaine de Papolle origin dates back to the 17th century for its production of Armagnac. Today, their aromatic white wines occupy an important place in their product range. Domaine de Papolle is naturally opposed to commercial and industrial winemaking and their winemaker, Frederic Piffard, is proud of their innovative yet traditional methods. Frederic’s art and craftsmanship as a winemaker mean Domaine de Papolle produces fresh and aromatic wines, with festive charms that make you want to share! Having been involved in the music business, Frederic returned home to help with the harvest one year. The previous winemaker had just retired and Frederic found himself “thrown in” to the world of winemaking. He is bringing his art into the vineyard and producing some stunning wine that is helping this region lure wine lovers south of Bordeaux. Frederic bought the Domaine in 2001 and it stands on a pretty plateau in the Gascogne region.
