Why Explorers?
Where did Explorers come from?
Well once upon a time, we noticed that our friends had superpowers when it came to picking out and sharing wine. They'd mastered the art of picking and describing their favourite flavours, and sharing with their friends. Some of our favourite parties were wine tasting dinners with our friends, and we decided we had to share that experience with our customers!
Now we're the curators - here to share our favourite wines with you!
Our mission? To share the bottles that set our hearts aflutter with even more people and transport them to the magical realm of delightful sips. We aimed to recreate that enchanting experience of clinking glasses and merry laughter, as if they were right there with us, toasting to life's joys.

About Us
We’re Gareth & Gavin Keogh, two brothers who have been obsessed with wine since before we could even reach the top shelf! As brothers, our love for wine runs deeper than sibling rivalries and questionable dance moves at family gatherings. It's practically in our blood: our dad, Paddy, founded Wines Direct way back in 1991, and we've been carrying on his legacy ever since.
We've travelled far and wide, forging epic friendships with independent winemakers from every corner of the globe. These guys make some seriously mind-blowing vino! These wine wizards have become our partners in crime, helping us bring you a mind-boggling selection of top-notch wines.
