Nicodemi is one of the most respected names in Abruzzo, farming organically on the rolling hillsides of Notaresco, where the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grape reaches its fullest expression. Elena Nicodemi continues her family's tradition of producing wines that authentically represent the region's unique terroir.

Le Murate is their reserve selection, aged in French oak to add complexity and depth. Deep ruby with an expressive nose of dark cherry, morello, chocolate, and a savoury herbal note. The palate is full-bodied with firm but polished tannins, concentrated fruit, and a long, elegant finish. A benchmark Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Superb with slow-roasted lamb, beef ragù, or a hearty pasta al forno.
