Andreas Bender

Andreas Bender grew up roaming the vineyards of the Mosel where his family grafted vines, and began making wine at 13 before studying oenology at Geisenheim University and gaining experience across the US, France and Italy. Today he manages 35 hectares across the Pfalz and Mosel, using unconventional retired oak barrels to produce impeccably balanced wines that feel both contemporary and deeply rooted in tradition.
