Neleman's high-altitude vineyards in the heart of Valencia's natural park produce this bold, characterful red from Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon. Grown above 800 metres where the temperature drops dramatically at night, the grapes develop intense colour and flavour while retaining a freshness that is rare in a wine from this sun-drenched region.
Deep ruby with aromas of ripe dark cherry, blackberry, and a hint of chocolate and pepper. The palate is full and generously fruited with soft tannins and a warm, satisfying finish. An organic wine of real personality. Ideal with grilled meats, pizza, pasta with rich tomato sauces, or slow-cooked lamb.

When Derrick met Diego Fernandez Pons, an organic winemaker from Spain, together they hatched a crazy plan to make affordable organic wine and revive near-extinct varietals from Valencia. Neleman organic wine is made without the use of pesticides and additives. They are so careful with their grapes, the vineyards and the nature around them that wines are delivered with bicycles — always choosing the most sustainable option in their business operations.
