Tour du Pas Saint-Georges is produced in Saint-Georges-Saint-Émilion, one of the four satellite appellations that neighbour Saint-Émilion itself. This half-bottle is a wonderful way to explore the Right Bank of Bordeaux — all the elegance of a Merlot-dominated blend in a format perfect for one or two people at the dinner table.
Deep garnet with aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, a hint of cedar, and the characteristic earthiness of Saint-Émilion's limestone soils. Silky tannins, good concentration, and a satisfying finish make this a genuinely pleasurable Bordeaux. Serve with roast beef, duck confit, or cheese — a little bottle of real quality.

Pascal Delbeck
Chateau Tour de Pas St. Georges is considered by many to be the flagship wine of this appellation. St. Georges is the most prestigeous satellite of St. Emilion, and is a closely guarded secret among a few passionate winemakers. Pascal Delbeck took over the estate from Madame Dubois -Challon, and they were both former owners of Chateau Bel Air, 1er Grand Cru Classé St. Emilion. The wealth of experience and knowledge which Mr. Delbeck brings with him is poured into the wine, making the very best out of the excellent terroir. The domaine is run according to biodynamic principles, and harvesting is by hand.
