Fattoria Montellori is a family estate in Fucecchio in Tuscany — a lesser-known corner of the region that has been producing wine for generations, and where Trebbiano Toscano grown on old vines delivers something altogether more interesting than the variety’s reputation might suggest. This ‘Viti di 60 Anni’ (‘60-year-old vines’) cuvée is exactly that: Trebbiano from vines planted six decades ago, producing a white of real depth and character.

Pale gold with a complex, concentrated nose of ripe peach, quince, dried apricot, and a subtle nutty, oxidative note from extended time on its lees. Dry and weighty on the palate with texture, length, and a finish that lingers. This is old-vine Trebbiano at its most compelling — serve with grilled fish, seafood pasta, roast chicken, or aged Tuscan cheese.
