Jean-Phillipe and Jean-Guillaume Bret

Jean-Guillaume and Jean-Philippe Bret grew up visiting their grandparents' Mâconnais vineyard, studied viticulture and oenology, worked across the wine world for eight years, then returned to take over La Soufrandière in 2000 — adding their Bret Brothers label a year later. Their wines, made from small plots of old vines on specific terroirs, represent the Mâconnais at its most rigorous and expressive.
