Sylvain Tatraux is a third-generation Côte Chalonnaise winemaker with 8 hectares in Givry — including 3 hectares of Premier Cru — in a region whose reputation for quality Pinot Noir has soared over the past decade through better winemaking and more thoughtful use of oak. Tatraux represents this new generation: producing wines of real Burgundian character at a fraction of the Côte de Nuits price.
