Moschofilero is an aromatic, pink-skinned Greek grape variety grown primarily in the Mantinia region of the Peloponnese, at high altitude. Despite its pink skin, Moschofilero is most often vinified as a white or rose wine, producing light-bodied, highly aromatic wines with pronounced floral notes of rose petal and orange blossom, alongside citrus and a hint of spice. Its naturally high acidity and low alcohol make it a refreshing, easy-drinking style, and it is also used to produce sparkling wines that showcase its perfumed character.
