Marie Orliac

Marie Orliac — daughter of Domaine de L'Hortus's Jean Orliac — lovingly revived Clos du Prieur in 1999, a 10-hectare estate in the village of Saint-Jean-de-Buèges between the limestone plateaus of the Séranne hills. These are wines that exemplify everything the Languedoc's visionary winemakers are fighting for: natural, isolated terroir producing wines of stunning concentration and wild garrigue character.
