Ramato is one of Italy's most fascinating and ancient wine styles — a skin-contact Pinot Grigio made by leaving the grape skins in contact with the juice during fermentation, producing a beautifully copper-hued wine of depth, texture, and aromatic complexity. San Simone in Friuli is one of its most accomplished producers.
Copper-rose in colour with a characterful nose of orange peel, dried rose petals, apricot, and a hint of almond. The palate is fuller and more textured than a conventional Pinot Grigio, with a lovely dry, slightly tannic grip and a long, sapid finish. A wine with real personality and versatility at the table — try it with charcuterie, aged cheeses, roast pork, or spiced chicken dishes.

The Brisotto siblings, Chiara, Antonio and Anna are driven by family pride and passion.
