Merlot has had an image problem. One film — Paul Giamatti snarling “I am not drinking any Merlot” in Sideways — managed to make the world’s most widely planted red grape feel deeply unfashionable for the best part of a decade. Which is a shame, because great Merlot is absolutely magnificent.
This six-bottle case is our attempt to set the record straight.
