Soave Classico DOC

Soave Classico is a white wine appellation in Italy's Veneto region, centred around the historic town of Soave near Verona. Made primarily from the Garganega grape, often blended with small amounts of Trebbiano di Soave or Chardonnay, Soave Classico wines are known for their delicate floral and almond aromas, crisp citrus and green apple flavours, and a distinctive subtle saline, mineral character derived from the region's volcanic soils. The 'Classico' designation refers to the original, historic heart of the Soave zone, generally considered to produce the region's best wines thanks to its hillside vineyards and volcanic soil composition.
