A red grape variety indigenous to Umbria in Central Italy, It’s recently been noted to contain some of the highest polyphenol (antioxidants) levels of of any red wine. Dark ruby color, intense scent of blackberries and fruit, strong tannic charge: it is one of the most precious reds in Italy.
