Corbières sits in the rugged garrigue landscape of the Languedoc, where old-vine Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre produce wines with a distinctive wild character — aromatic, earthy, and with genuine depth. Baronne de Beausejour produces this from Vignes des Lanes, a plot of old vines farmed with care for the land.

Dark fruit, herbs of the garrigue, and a savoury, spiced finish. Medium-bodied with good structure — this is Languedoc as it should be: honest and full of character. Excellent with slow-cooked lamb, cassoulet, or a board of aged cheeses.

The last stop on the tour is the tasting room where it all starts to make sense. One can taste the respect of land and all living things, meticulous attention to detail, and the loving care in each wine produced by the Lignères family.
