The Maule Valley is Chile's largest wine-producing region, located in the Central Valley south of Santiago. It's also one of the country's oldest wine regions, home to many old, dry-farmed bush vines — some over a century old — that have become a major focus of Chile's renewed interest in heritage varieties and sustainable, low-intervention winemaking. While the Maule Valley produces significant volumes of everyday Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it's increasingly celebrated for old-vine Carignan, País, and Cinsault, grapes that were once overlooked but are now prized for the depth, character, and sense of place they bring to the wines — often with a fresher, more savoury profile than typical warm-climate Chilean reds. Our Maule Valley collection includes both approachable, everyday wines and more distinctive bottlings from old vines and heritage varieties. These wines pair well with grilled meats, hearty stews, and traditional Chilean cuisine.
