Marilina and Federica Paternò have farmed organically since their Sicilian estate was established in 2001, maintaining 40-50 year-old vines alongside a philosophy of absolute respect for the earth — using concrete tanks, sun-dried grapes and extended skin contact in ways that are both ancient and entirely modern. Sicily's generous climate and their minimal-intervention approach produce wines of real depth and authenticity.
