Halfway up the slope of the ‘Golden Hill’ is a wonderful terroir of clay and limestone with red hue, very like the soil at Aloxe-Corton. 80% whole bunch natural ferment in concrete vats before press, then resting for over a year in old oak. On the palate medium-bodied yet powerful with black cherries, black fruit and pepper spice with a beautiful long finish. The tannins are silky and rounded and will continue to reveal its full splendour in the years to come.
