This is an intriguing wine from San Simone made with a local Cab Franc that was rediscovered by accident. On the nose, it`s got a unique sylvan character of dried herbs and bouquet garni. Once tasted, some sweet cherry and bitter raspberry fruit appears. Then the drier, herbaceous side kicks in again and continues for a very long finish. Amazing value.
