Tatraux Givry Rouge
Tatraux Givry Rouge
With the help of his wife, Sylvain manages this small 8-hectare vineyard that has existed since 1763. This is a delightful wine with the aromas of ripe cherries characteristic of the grape variety. The grapes are hand-harvested, and vinification is traditional.

Sylvain-Tatraux
Sylvain Tatraux, 3rd generation winemaker, runs his beautiful Cote Chalonnaise vineyard with his wife, Sandra. Tatraux owns eight hectares of beautiful Burgundian land, three of which have renowned 1er Cru status. Givry used to be known for producing cheap, affordable Pinot Noir that should be drunk within a few years but the whole region’s reputation has soared in the last 10 years. Better wine making techniques and better use of oak barrels have helped transform the reputation of the whole region.
