Wines Direct was delighted to be asked to sit on a wine industry panel to discuss all things wine with the legendary Bobby Kerr. Bobby Kerr is an Irish businessman, entrepreneur and TV personality. He grew Insomnia Coffee from a business that took £58 on its opening day to 150 shops across Ireland and the UK and was a founding dragon on RTÉ's Dragon Den. Bobby's podcast, Down To Business with Bobby Kerr, is a lively show focusing on Irish businesses and industry. It talks to the people behind Irish companies, both big and small, to get their insights into their industries, other industries, and what it takes to be successful.

On the panel was Robert Mitchell of Mitchell & Sons Wine Merchant, Tomasz Szczepanski, Shop Manager at the Corkscrew in Dublin, and our own Gareth and Gavin Keogh. The panel discussed a wide variety of hot topics, including tips on choosing wine, climate change effects on wine, trends in wine, homogeneous commercial vs independently sourced wines, and monthly wine box subscriptions.
