Bodegas Perica is a family winery founded in 1912, and Don Juan García used to sell wines for local consumption as well as to neighbouring towns. Due to the success obtained, it was his son, Don David García (nicknamed "Perica"), who inherited the project.
Perica has come to define a way to view life based on the eort, attention to detail and love and respect of the wine heritage of their land. These are the virtues that have driven the winery during the last half-century to go from being a local hold to an international company. Currently, it is the third generation that leads it.
Bodegas Perica is over 140 acres in the best areas of Rioja Alta. The quality of the vineyard’s soil along with the perfect acclimatisation of dierent grape varieties are the reasons why the Rioja Alta is regarded as an indisputable international level for all great wine lovers.
