**Price Includes DELIVERY**
Sauvignon, Sauvignon everywhere, and you still don’t know what to choose. Sauvignon Blanc is the most widespread grape and somewhat maligned by wine nerds. This wine case is designed to delight both – spot on Sauvignon and Sauvignon blends to surprise and spice it up.
1 x Domaine Ricard ‘Tasciaca’ 2017/18 - Touraine-Chenonceaux AOC (Organic and Vegan)
Vincent Ricard is very proud of his small microclimate, Chenonceaux AOC was only created in 2011 and now produces a more opulent style with more smokiness achieved from the flinty, Tuffeau stone. Fermented mostly in large oak tonneaux and 25% in small barrels, the oak gives texture and complexity while not overpowering the beautiful fruit—a real show stopper.
1 x Paddy Borthwick 2019/20 – Wairarapa – New Zealand
This is from the best grapes and shows the true expression of the Borthwick Estate Sauvignon Blanc. Paddy Borthwick’s vineyard is 70 hectors in Wairarapa near Wellington, South of the North Island. The excellent soil and climate, along with an intuitive approach to viticulture and care in the winery, gives this wine expressive vibrance. On the palate, there is a slight guava flavour running through the aromatic green fruits and zesty freshness right to the end
1 x José Pariente 2019 - Rueda DO - Spain
A limited release from Victoria Pariente, an experiment that was planted 30 years ago. A fantastic alternative to the traditional Ruedian Verdejo. Stainless steel fermentation with indigenous yeasts and extended time on lees results in an elegant Sauvignon with subtle aromas of lemongrass and green pepper. Very, very long finish.
1 x Cosimo Maria Masini ‘Annick’ 2018/19 – Toscana Bianco IGT - Italy (Biodynamic, Organic and Vegan)
Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino
Annick has aromatic, fresh Sauvignon characteristics thanks to early harvesting and direct pressing. The Vermentino in the blend is harvested later (mid-September) and fermented on skins for 4-5 days in cement. The wine is left on its fine lees for about four months. The result is a beautiful dance between the citrus freshness of the Sauvignon and the structure and hints of Muscat given by the skin-fermented Vermentino.
1 x Domaine Serge Laloue 2018 - Sancerre AOC – France (Vegan)
Sauvignon BlancNo mistaking the grape variety, for this white wine shouts Sauvignon Blanc, for it is vibrant, fragrant and positive. This is a wonderfully run family property. The youth and the dynamism has really upped the winery's game and made it one of the stand out properties in the appellation.
1 x Alkoomi 2019/20 - Frankland River, Western Australia (Organic methods and Vegan)
Semillion, Sauvignon Blanc
From the vineyard of Sandy and Rod Hallett in Western Australia. Harvested in the early hours of the morning to keep optimum aromatics. Pressed immediately and into stainless steel. With balance between France and New World. Fresh pineapple and lychee are carried on the palate with crunchy bright acidity.
