Shining Lights - 12 Bottle Case
**Price Includes Delivery**
Fancy some refreshing summer swills? The wines in this case may be lightweights with low to medium ABV but punch much higher than their weight. This cool climate case has everything from Gamay to Muscadet. You will enjoy wines starting at around 10% ABV to ones touching 13% ABV for good measure. Low alcohol wines are typically about 10%, and most will be light in body with some residual sugar. Medium-low to Medium Alcohol wines range from 10.5 to 12.5% ABV. Taste the range.
2x Domaine des Terres ‘l’Ancien’ 2018 - Beaujolais AOC (Organic methods)
Jean-Paul’s old vine wine, four hectares of vines in the slightly warmer Pierres Dorées. Using traditional methods and no oak. A vibrant and gutsy wine with notes of spice
and strawberry. This is a wine with a long, lingering raspberry and strawberry finish balanced with fine tannins.
2x Domaine Huber-Verderau Cuvée No. 1. ‘Les Chanterelles’ - Coteaux Bourguignon AOC 2015 (Organic certified, Biodynamic certified, Vegan)
Gamay, Pinot Noir
80% Gamay and 20% Pinot Noir. Gamay is unusual in Burgundy, and the 60-year-old vines are forbidden to be replaced. So this is a real one of a kind wine. Destemmed with spontaneous fermentation in concrete vats where it rests on lees for nine months — leading to a real wild strawberry and rustic nose. Gutsy with elegance.
2x Stefano Accordini 2018/19 - Valpolicella Classico DOC (Organic certified)
Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Molinara
The Accordini family's 25 hectares of vineyards occupy the highest locations in Valpolicella. Vines benefit from the tempering effect of the altitude, even in the hottest years, resulting in a beautifully aromatic wine, with good natural acidity. Grown organically, hand-harvested, and fermented using natural yeast and matured for about four months in steel tanks. This is a very flavourful wine, medium-bodied with moderate alcohol and bright cherry flavours.
2x Domaine Ricard ‘Tasciaca’ 2017/18 - Touraine-Chenonceaux AOC (Organic certified, Vegan)
Vincent Ricard is very proud of his small 'micro-climate'. Chenonceaux AOC was only created in 2011 and now produces a more opulent style with more smokiness achieved from the flinty, Tuffeau stone. Fermented mostly in large oak tonneaux (25 h/l) and 25% in smaller barrels, the oak gives texture and complexity while not overpowering the beautiful fruit. Natural yeast keeps the wine entirely true to its terroir, and grapes are hand-harvested.
2x Bender ‘I Love Mosel’ 2018 - Mosel Kabinett QMP (Organic methods)
Andreas made a wine that they enjoy drinking in the Mosel, from a single parcel of red slate in the Premier Cru vineyard Schweicher Annaberg site. Hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented in large old oak barrels, before a temperature-controlled ferment, resting on lees for three months in stainless steel tanks. Off-dry with honeyed fruit that is framed by mouthwatering, crushing freshness.
2x Domaines Landron ‘Le Fief du Breil’ 2015 - Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine AOP (Organic certified, Biodynamic methods)
Melon de Bourgogne
Jo Landron works on his land to reveal the yet undiscovered wonders of Muscadet. This wine comes from an unusually diverse piece of land with a combination of flint, river pebbles, quartz and granite. It is situated between the Sèvre and La Haye-Fouassière rivers. Hand-harvested, naturally fermented in concrete and then aged for 30 months on lees. Giving us a multi-layered wine with white flower, citrus, and beautiful texture.
