The Pagos de Araíz winery is based near Olite, the capital of the Navarra wine region. Acquired by the Masveu family in 2000 (the people behind the outstanding Fillaboa Albariño), Pagos de Araíz has been modernized in order to fulfil its ambition of making the best wine in the world accessible to everyone.
Pagos de Araíz’s vineyards are significant: the estate extends to hundreds of hectares of Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Garnacha vines. However, the scale of Pagos de Araíz doesn’t take away from the attention the vines receive. Using pioneering vineyard management techniques, everything from leaf cover to water stress to root health is taken care of in a way that marries traditional know-how with modern resources. Pagos de Araíz is exclusively focussed on growing grapes that produce delicious, authentically Navarrese wines.
Pagos de Araíz combine exceptional fruit, traditional methods, and state-of-the-art technology to produce fantastic and aordable wines that are true representations of Navarrese wine.
