Is there a minimum order?
If you buy from our shop in Mullingar you can order anything from one bottle to several cases. When ordering for delivery we ask that you order in multiples of six so that your wine doesn’t break during shipping. This does not apply to wine packed in gift boxes. We have a selection of gifts in one, two, and three bottle boxes.
I would like my wine delivered. Where do you deliver and how much does it cost?
No problem! We will deliver your wine to any one address within the Republic of Ireland within 72 working hours Free of Charge, regardless of the number of cases. For deliveries to UK and Northern Ireland, the delivery fee is charged at €22.00.
What if I am not home when my wine is delivered? Will you leave it on the doorstep for me?
The courier will deliver your wine during office hours, Monday to Friday. Your wine cannot be left without a signature. If you think you will not be home you can elect to have it delivered to a work address or a friend or neighbour. If the courier does miss you, an advice slip will be left so you can make arrangements to collect your wine.
If I buy a wine and I don’t like it can I send it back?
We understand that tastes vary and we want you to be happy with your purchase. If, for any reason you are unhappy with the quality or simply do not like the wine, we will refund you for any bottles which you return to us which have not been opened and remain in saleable condition on return.
Can I mix cases or do they have to be the same?
When ordering your 6 or 12 bottle case, you can choose ANY 6 or 12 bottles, they do not all have to be from a single brand.
I forgot to add a note on my order, what do I do now?
If you have forgotten to leave us a note, simply send us an e-mail with your note, along with your order number to email@example.com
Can I amend an order that I have already placed?
Of course! You can add to or amend any order before it has been dispatched. All you need to do is contact us either through email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (1890 579 579), quoting your order number.
Do you only sell online?
Wines Direct does not only sell online, in fact, the online store is only a small part of the Wines Direct company. We mostly sell to the hospitality industry, while we also have a retail shop located in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath – this is open to the public and offers daily wine tastings for those of you who would like to pop by.
My order is a gift, can I send a card with it?
Yes, of course you can! With all gift orders, we include a FREE handwritten card. At the end of your order, write your message to the recipient in the ‘notes’ box and we will happily include the card, while ensuring not to include any invoicing or payment information.
