Domaine Horgelus - La Vie en Rose.
South West France, France
The grapes for this great Rosé wine are picked at night, an old trick for keeping everything fresh! A refreshing aroma of flowers, red fruits and berries. Smooth and thirst-quenching it makes an ideal accompaniment to summer salads and grills.

"Excellent value here from an estate that makes some of the best value house wines you will find in Irish restaurants. This pink from Gascony puts dark-skinned and rather austere Tannat with supple, easy Merlot. Of course, in pink form this makes an exuberantly fruity wine, solidly dry but nicely full on the palate."
"A delicious refreshing light rosé, brimming with lightly textured ripe strawberry fruits. Perfect on its own, with salads or grilled white meats."
"Pungent herbs and fresh basil leaves. Berry juicy and fruity with a herbal tone. Needs robust food - beef burgers with a spicy tomato relish."
It is on the sunny hills of Gascony, in Montreal of the Gers in the heart of the South-West, that the Le Menn family gave birth to Domaine Horgelus. The estate now covers 66 hectares of vineyards located around the winery.
