Though it shares its name with Zweigetl, Rotburger is its own varietal. In Germany, Rotburger is planted in Baden, Wurttemberg and Ahr, and produces light bodied, lively wines. Rotburger loves growing in cool climates and is taking off in many Canadian wine regions.
