Jean Pierre Py

Domaine Py is located in the Corbières appellation between Carcassonne and Narbonne. Their vineyards extend to over 130 ha all of which are farmed organically to produce juicy and fresh wines that represent the best of the Corbières terroir.

The Pys, the family behind Domaine Py, have been vignerons for many years. Jean Pierre Py is the 4th generation of his family to make wine in Corbières. This heritage gives the Py family an appreciation for the value of tradition. At Domaine Py, the viticulture and winemaking are pursued in a way that’s authentic to Corbières. Jean Pierre is committed to preserving his family’s land – he describes it as the strength behind Domaine Py wines. This commitment led to Domaine Py converting to organic agriculture in 2008.

As well as building the strength of the vineyard’s clay-limestone soil and allowing the terroir to come through in the wines, Organic agriculture has elevated the overall quality at Domaine Py. Their Cuvée Mondière is one of the best Corbières wines we’ve tasted!

Château Moulin la Mondière

Situated in Douzens, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees, the vines extend over 80 acres at the foot of Mount Alaric.
