Syrah or Shiraz? It’s a state of mind really. The French use the former name despite Australia’s coup de grape (see what we did there?!). Its original homeland is the Rhône Valley where winemakers have been perfecting it since the time of the Romans but where there’s sun there’s Shiraz and it has found huge success down under.
