Job Overview: Initially working 10-20 hours per week, varying across 7 days. We aim for further hours to be available as the business progresses and grows. There will be three key responsibilities of this role :

Reporting to: The Wines Direct Retail Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a part-time role, working 10-20 hours per week (shifts scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance) and will report directly to the Wines Direct retail manager. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic person with a determination to succeed with this new venture. Core responsibilities will include:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Sales experience is essential, ideally within a customer facing retail environment. Any previous wine education or knowledge is desirable, but the most important attribute in this regards is to have genuine interest and passion for wine with a desire to always learn more.
Education and Experience:
Leaving Certificate as a minimum with some previous retail experience essential. A genuine interest and some knowledge of wine is a must, with a WSET certificate a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and keen to learn about wine while achieving sales. You will be punctual, reliable and flexible in regards to working days/times, while making customers happy will always at the forefront of your thoughts.
