Discover and Buy Bordeaux Wine

Grand Châteaux, a regal history, great vineyards and an obsession with wine for centuries combine to make Bordeaux the most important wine region on earth. Since the Roman’s introduced the vine here in the 1st century, winemakers have been crafting and sculpting fine wines for Europe’s rich and powerful. The most famous are its reds and, thanks to the region’s particular maritime climate, they can be made to last for decades.

Many are sought after as collectors’ items but we’re not here to admire dusty bottles. We want to drink the good stuff now and fortunately there’s plenty to offer the impatient pleasure seeker. It’s not just reds either. Dry, racy whites made with Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are  another strength of this famous region and it is also home to the finest dessert wines on the planet; Sauternes.
